Beni Benk in Arabic means ‘You and Me.’ This is the
title of a fantasy-comedy film, part of which was
done in Hawassa town of Southern Nations,
Nationalities and Peoples Regional State (SNNPR),
which will take Ethiopian actors and setting to an
estimated 450 million Middle Eastern audience. That
is what AlSadaf, for Sonic and Visual Production, a
Saudi Arabian based film company and its Ethiopian
partner, Serawit Multimedia Production, hope will
happen during this year’s month of Ramadhan, the
fasting season for the Muslim world. The film will
be premiered on MBC1. |
